1. I’m having a tough time getting back into running after the Seattle Rock n Roll half marathon a couple weeks ago. The first couple runs afterwards I quit early because of a side stitch. Last night I managed a full five miler, but it was ridiculously slow. I think I’ll blame it on the heat…except it didn’t really feel that hot to me last night. I’m planning another five miler tonight, but this one will be a tempo run so it will be a real test – no quitting early this time!

2. I looked up my pictures from the half marathon this week and they are GOD AWFUL. How do some people manage to look so cute in their race pictures? I look like I’m about to keel over and die. Seriously, give me some tips on how to look cute while running.

3. I don’t know how much running I’ll be able to get in this weekend. I am babysitting my two adorable nephews (ages 3 and 5) all day tomorrow and Saturday. I’m hoping just chasing after them will be enough of a workout. I am really looking forward to it even if Matthew is going through a phase where he refuses to wear pants…or eat.

Have I mentioned yet that my ten year high school reunion is this summer? I still haven’t decided if I’m going or not. Regardless of whether I’m going or not though I like to dream up perfect reunion outfits. Right now I’m drooling over this Moschino dress:

If only I had a couple thousand dollars lying around.

A Pop of Green

I love how this wardrobe is turned into the focal point of a room simply by painting the inside of it green.

I would love to do something similar to this to the built in bookshelves in our office. Although, that would involve me getting off my ass and being productive. Not likely to happen.

Bedside Table

I originally saved this photo because I liked the bedside table. But what keeps me looking at it is the colors of the room. I love the turquoise headboard with the orangey-red table.

In fact, I recently told the fiance I wanted to change our wedding colors to be turquoise and red. I got shot down. Something about it being too late for changes. LAME!
